Meal Planning Ideas
Here is a list of my family’s favorite meals! I choose 3-4 of these per week to help me plan out our dinners!
MEAL IDEAS
Breakfasts:
(grab & go for school/work, I’ll usually prep 1-2 of these on Sunday)
Breakfast burritos (eggs, cheese, protein (steak, ground sausage, chorizo)
Fried egg English muffin sandwich with sausage patty or Canadian bacon
Overnight oats
Greek yogurt and granola cups
Banana bread/muffins
Protein oat muffins
Boiled eggs
Homemade eggo waffles/pancakes in the fridge or freezer for quick breakfast
Lunches:
(Grab & go for school/work. I always cook double portion dinners to have left overs for work lunches, I usually pick 1-2 from this list to pre make on Sundays)
Sandwiches
Pesto pasta salad
Chicken salad
Hummus and veggies with pita chips
Greek chick pea quinoa salad
Cheese, salami snack packs
Caesar salad wraps
Dinners:
(Before the work week I will pick 4 of the meals below and take the meat out of the freezer and move it into the fridge to thaw for the week. The other nights we will do left overs)
Tacos/burritos
Steaks, potatoes or rice pilaf, and veggie
Burgers/sliders
Salmon, rice, veggie (oven roasted)
Spaghetti
Lasagna roll ups
Stuffed shells with meat sauce
Chicken Alfredo
Zuppo toscana soup (Italian sausage)
Chicken teriyaki bowls (chicken thighs,rice, carrots, broccoli)
Shrimp/steak/veggie kabobs
Fried chicken and mashed potatoes plus veggie
Chili and cornbread
Enchiladas
Cream of mushroom chicken and rice bake
Chicken and dumpling soup
Shrimp and grits
Homemade pizzas
Sheet pan chicken (spatchcock chicken or chicken thighs, potatoes, and veggies
Tomato bisque and grilled cheese
Nachos/quesadillas (left over meat of any kind)
Ham, peas, parmesean Alfredo pasta
Minestrone soup with sourdough
Fajita night
Homemade chicken ramen night
Steak or chicken Cobb salad
